Service is at the heart of everything we do at Essentia Health - Medical Equipment & Supplies. We don’t just sell people durable medical equipment; we create relationships with customers that last for years. Our team will work with you to help you select the right durable medical equipment and supplies, show you how to use them properly, and follow up with you to be sure you’re happy with the product.
As part of our ventilator program we partake early on with the patient while they are still hospitalized to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home. This includes meeting with the hospital team during care conferences and bringing our equipment into the hospital so the patient is comfortable with the chosen equipment before discharge. We also provide comprehensive equipment education to the caregivers that will be taking care of the patient in their home along with ongoing training for as long as the patient is on our equipment.
Our trained staff is always available for inservice and competency training for staff who care for people in the home care and assisted living setting.
Because we know the reimbursement and documentation quidelines can be complex and frustrating for referrals we have a clinical specialist on staff to help them through this process. We want to ensure our patients meet the criteria so that they are not left with a costly bill.
